Responsibilities
Generate and manage multiple quotations at a fast pace. Candidate should be able to quote direct jobs, and pass-through support to our KSB sister companies
Primary business focuses on General Industrial applications like water supply systems, cooling circuits, heating systems, heat transfer media, etc
Employee will support Sales efforts to strategic Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), end users, third party channel partners, and various service partners
Provide technical responses to local KSB personnel, KSB factories, sub-suppliers, and customers
Responsible for using KSBs tools in providing pump technical information such as datasheets, speed curves, drawings, etc
Ability to interact with vendors for buyouts
Ability to understand/translate drawings and basic specifications
Ability to compile costing for all equipment and project needs and work with KSB Sales Personnel to create customer quotations
Stay abreast of company offerings (products and services), Tools and Systems
Support Management with routine reporting on key performance metrics
Departmental filing and records management
Other Application Engineering responsibilities, as assigned
Qualification
Required

Time management – Managing one's own time and the time required for projects along with the ability to prioritize tasks required to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

Reading Comprehension – understanding and comprehending written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
Computer skills – Be familiar with and effectively use, within the context of the role: All applicable MS Office applications, KSB Selection tools and AutoCAD

Social Perceptiveness – Being aware of others' reactions and interpretation; ability to convey appropriate responses. Provide effective interface with internal and external partners
Written Expression – The ability to communicate and convey information and ideas so others understand
Deductive Reasoning – The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible/useful answers
Intuitive – Identify potential problems and address before they become issues. Able to be creative in identifying solutions to resolve problems
Ability to work independently
Technical Aptitude (advanced level) – applicable to requirements shown in Position Skills Matrix
Develop and maintain knowledge and working experience working with mechanical equipment or auxiliary equipment
B.S. degree in Engineering with at least two years of experience of centrifugal pump engineering and application
