15+ years expTalent Seed's fintech client is looking for a VP of Software Engineering. In this role, you will guide the software team through the design and development of current and future products.
Responsibilities
Guide the software team through the design and development of current and future products
Coordinate many moving parts to meet tight deadlines and have contingency plans ready when priorities shift
Mentor direct reports in both technical achievement and career growth
Push towards best practices and team goals while being flexible in a fast-paced startup environment
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience building technical software products, with at least 5 of those years as a manager of an engineering team of 25+
Strong experience in Fintech, Payments, P2P, etc
A history of scaling tech teams and products with a passion for mentoring your direct reports in both technical achievement and career growth
Strong system design experience and ability to roll up your sleeves if needed
Relentlessly strive to push towards best practices and team goals while being flexible in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience working in an environment with multiple programming languages
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial acumen, grit, and a deep appreciation for quality
