5+ years expAmazon is seeking a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Reliability Engineer to serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers and vendors. This role focuses on developing structured maintenance strategies for material handling equipment to enhance performance and reduce maintenance costs, while also leading reliability initiatives and managing projects from concept to rollout.

Responsibilities
Leading reliability initiatives to maximize the equipment overall effectiveness
Capturing best practices and network/business units roll outs
Building feedback into the design process with WWDE to assure the highest safety and sustainability possible
Developing and owning programs, projects, and systems that will improve efficiency, reduce downtime of critical assets, and reduce overall maintenance costs that are scalable to all business units
Effectively owning projects from concept to network roll out, using advanced project management tools
Demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
Qualification
Required
Experience analyzing dependencies, tradeoffs, and sensitivities across multi-disciplinary systems
Experience participating in or leading technical collaborations and creating alignment across diverse groups (e.g., hardware engineering, software engineering, program management)
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience in managing and troubleshooting network
Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
2+ years of technical support, or 2+ years of systems engineering experience
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
5+ years of technical troubleshooting or similar experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
Experience reviewing and understanding engineering design documents for electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assembly drawings of products
Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
Experience mentoring, coaching, and influencing colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders
Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
Experience working with Material handling equipment (MHE)
