Responsibilities

Develop robust and scalable backend systems

Design and develop high-quality frontend systems

Scale our multi-region infrastructure

Instill and maintain high coding standards and best practices. Fixing issues as you find them

Ship high-quality features fast and not be afraid of breaking things.. 'Unless you are breaking stuff, you aren’t moving fast enough'

Qualification

Required

Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI or similar web frameworks

Strong proficiency in React and React Native

Proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale backend systems

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of software engineering principles

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Practical experience with cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure. Including Storage Buckets/Blobs, EC2/Azure VMs, Lambda/Functions, and Redis/Message Brokers

Solid understanding of database management, design, and optimization, with hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases

A passion for AI and technology, eager to work in a startup environment where agility and innovation are highly valued
