Responsibilities

Lead the definition, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and reusable technology solutions aligned with business strategy and long term growth
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business leaders to define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and application frameworks, with a strong focus on web and cloud based platforms using the Microsoft technology stack
Act as a bridge between business objectives and IT strategy, ensuring solutions are sustainable, adaptable, and aligned with architectural roadmaps
Design and oversee the delivery of multi tier, cloud and hybrid architectures, including modernization of legacy systems, cloud migrations, and adoption of DevOps and delivery excellence practices
Define and guide application architecture strategies using microservices, containers, and modern integration patterns
Promote secure by design principles by embedding security development lifecycle practices into the software development lifecycle
Evaluate emerging technologies, lead proof of concept initiatives, and recommend innovative architectural approaches that improve scalability, performance, and reliability
Partner with cross functional teams to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and business processes
Provide architectural guidance to development teams, supporting Agile delivery, CI and CD pipelines, and continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of seven years of experience in software engineering and application development, with at least three years in an architecture focused role
Strong experience working in Agile environments with CI and CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Hands on experience with cloud platforms, modern distributed architectures, microservices, containers, and orchestration tools
Proficiency in modern web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and UI frameworks
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Node.js
Strong understanding of application and platform security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and common security risks
Experience with development and DevOps tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps

Preferred

Strong understanding of enterprise application delivery methods and system integration patterns
Experience designing RESTful APIs, applying dependency injection, using data access frameworks, and implementing test automation
Ability to solve complex technical problems and design innovative solutions beyond standard approaches
Experience contributing to technology roadmaps, architectural governance, and enterprise wide solution design
