Start in 2026 SummerThe United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis, focused on promoting and developing tennis at all levels in the U.S. They are seeking an intern for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team to gain hands-on experience in exploratory data analysis, contributing to projects that analyze player data, market opportunities, and present insights. This internship offers a chance to work closely with analysts and immerse in the USTA culture.

Responsibilities
Dive into player data: Analyze survey results to uncover the “why” behind player retention and churn
Map the market: Use localized research to identify opportunity zones, areas where demand for tennis is strong but access to courts and programs is limited
Tell the story with data: Contribute to key research projects and help build clear, compelling presentations that translate insights into action
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning and basic analysis tools
Some prior experience with data analysis (coursework, projects, or internships)
Curious, analytical, and excited to solve real-world problems with data
Strong communicator with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to take ownership of projects from start to finish
Preferred
familiarity with basic statistical models or concepts
