Gemini Group, Inc. is seeking a QC Technician to ensure the quality of manufactured parts. The role involves checking parts using various methods and maintaining quality control reports.

Responsibilities

Check manufactured parts thru the use of CMM, 3D Scanning, visual, and manual checks
Create and maintain QC reports for customer approval
Read and interpret drawings
Use handheld measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc…)
Communicate findings to Quality Manager
Use lifting devices (crane, forklift, hoists, etc…)

Qualification

Required

Associates' degree (AS) or equivalent, or 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to read drawings and view/understand 3D models
Must be able to use handheld measuring devices and gauges
Must be able to learn CMM and 3D scanning

Preferred

Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
CMM and 3D scanning experience
AS400 knowledge
Advanced organization skills
LEAN Manufacturing background
Advanced problem solving skills (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, etc.)
