Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in person and by phone; answer and direct inquiries
Notify staff of visitor arrivals and maintain visitor logbooks
Issue visitor badges and follow security procedures
Manage telecommunications system, including phone and console operations
Maintain a clean and safe reception area in compliance with company standards
Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure continuity
Support team efforts by completing related tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years in an administrative or receptionist role
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal communication and telephone etiquette
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively
Professionalism and customer service focus
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic math skills, including percentages and proportions
Physical ability to sit for extended periods, occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lbs
Vision requirements include color vision and focus adjustment
Work environment is generally quiet
