Responsibilities
Collaborate with product owners, business partners, and engineering teams to identify AI/GenAI opportunities aligned with investment management objectives (ETFs, Investment Management Group operations, data workflows)
Support the development of AI strategy within Investment Systems, including use-case prioritization, value assessment, and alignment with business goals
Evaluate opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, decision support, and process automation across investment and operational domains
Lead rapid proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate feasibility and business value
Translate successful experiments into actionable recommendations and partner with engineering teams for implementation
Leverage GenAI frameworks, automation tools, and cloud-based AI services to build practical demonstrations
Identify opportunities to enhance the SDLC through AI (AI-assisted development, automated documentation, enhanced testing, workflow analytics)
Support teams in adopting AI-enabled engineering practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
Translate ambiguous or complex business problems into clear, data-informed solution options
Communicate insights and recommendations with clarity, structure, and strategic context
Promote awareness of AI capabilities, risks, and constraints across Investment Systems stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years working with AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, or automation solutions
Demonstrated experience in investment management, ETFs, index operations, trading workflows, or similarly data-driven financial environments
Proven ability to rapidly move from idea → experiment → validated recommendation
Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS preferred)
Strong understanding of SDLC practices and modern engineering workflows
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Preferred
Experience applying AI and automation to investment or operational processes
Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and workflow automation platforms
Knowledge of investment datasets, ETF and investment management operational flows, and associated risk/compliance considerations
