Responsibilities
Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Ensure accuracy of payroll data and support payroll compliance requirements
Uphold confidentiality of payroll and financial data
Reconcile third-party delivery deposits with internal sales and POS records
Oversee AR/AP processes in conjunction with Administrative Assistant
Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account analysis
Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
Develop early-stage FP&A capabilities, including:
Revenue and expense segmentation analysis (in-store, catering, 3rd party, app)
Variance analysis against budget and forecast
Contribution analysis for new store openings
ROI analysis of marketing initiatives
Maintain and improve financial processes, leveraging technology for efficiency
Support finance leadership with ad hoc projects, financial modeling, tax and audit prep
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1 year of progressive accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; associate's degree or equivalent experience considered
Experience in restaurant or multi-unit retail environments preferred
Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
