They are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive individual for the role of Threat and Vulnerability Analyst Intern, where the intern will gain hands-on experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities while working closely with experienced security professionals.

Responsibilities
Collaboration with risk management to enhance vulnerability and threat data involved in risk evaluations
Defining processes that can be maintained to increase transparency and efficiency between vulnerability, threat, and risk data
Assisting with communication plans, policy updates, tool enhancements, etc
Conduct threat in-depth research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors and analyze threat intelligence data to identify relevant threats to the organization and assess their potential impact
Monitor and analyze threat intelligence feeds from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial threat intelligence platforms, and intelligence sharing partnerships
Track and document threat actor activity and campaigns
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn about threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and vendor risk management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Rising BA/BS in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Computer Science
Preferred
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including networking, operating systems, and common security threats
