Strategic Account Manager - Advisory Consulting

They are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to expand their market presence through a consultative sales approach, focusing on client retention, revenue growth, and new client acquisition.

Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

Drive targeted revenue growth across assigned global and strategic accounts, new target logos, and LRQA’s core products and services, in collaboration with local and regional sales teams
Own and execute account plans for assigned accounts and target logos, coordinating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver agreed actions
Partner with local teams to understand client strategies, expand LRQA’s network of influencers, and grow a strong pipeline of opportunities
Maintain a healthy, accurate sales pipeline, taking corrective action and escalating issues as needed to meet revenue targets and forecast commitments
Ensure contracted SLAs are consistently met by working closely with Program Support and operational delivery teams
Lead account retention efforts, proactively mitigate risks of attrition, and secure renewals to prevent re-tendering
Actively pursue new business opportunities for target logos, either as the lead or in a supporting role, using proven winning strategies
Maintain strong market awareness to identify opportunities for new products and services and contribute to LRQA’s strategic growth initiatives
Deliver accurate and timely sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance summaries
Act as an ambassador for One LRQA, collaborating cross-functionally and representing LRQA at industry events and conferences
Drive high levels of client satisfaction, improve NPS scores, and proactively identify growth opportunities and new product ideas
Maintain financial control by setting targets, developing budgets, and monitoring performance across assigned accounts
Monitor competitive activity, analyze market opportunities, and translate client insights into strategic growth and product development initiatives

Required

Demonstrable success in achieving annual sales targets within a B2B environment
Proven experience working with large, strategic organizations to develop tailored sales solutions
Track record of increasing contract values through sustained year-on-year double-digit growth
Experience preparing and delivering proposals and presentations to senior-level stakeholders
Strong background in managing quotations, bids, and proposals, with sound pricing and margin management knowledge
Proven experience within the Assurance sector, including audit, assurance services, and regulatory compliance
Experience managing large global and strategic accounts using insight-led, solution-based selling
Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent double-digit growth
Proven success executing ambitious growth plans in a B2B environment
Ability to develop compelling value propositions for global clients
Confident communicator with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
Expertise in managing complex bids, proposals, and pricing strategies
Strong ability to work across functions and geographies to deliver shared objectives
Skilled in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and opportunity identification
Experience setting budgets, financial targets, and monitoring account performance
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively
Proficient with Salesforce and standard business IT tools
Degree-level education in a business-relevant discipline
Minimum of 3 years' sector-specific experience within one of LRQA's core sectors, including sales or a related role
Fluency in English and at least one additional widely used business language relevant to your base region

Preferred

Knowledge of the business assurance sector is advantageous but not essential

Benefits

This position is eligible to participate in an annual performance bonus plan, based on the achievement of defined company and individual performance goals.
This position is eligible for commission-based compensation, with commissions earned based on individual sales performance against defined targets.
