Autonomous Driving Vehicle Controls Engineer

Responsibilities
Job responsibility requires working on state estimation algorithms such as Kalman filters, Particle filters etc
Working on control algorithm tuning and development such as MPC, LQR, PID etc
Working of Path planning algorithms such as Dijkstra, A• etc
Working on Emergency braking and ACC algorithms
Job responsibility requires candidate to work on Simulation tools such as PreScan, Dspace ASM
Knowledge of Simulink Check for generating MAAB warnings and fixing the MATLAB/Simulink model
Knowledge of using PolySpace tool in Simulink and ISO26262 functional safety standard
Working on the analysis for CAN data recordings using PCAN tools, UDP data recordings using Wireshark Recordings, Embedded system recordings using custom GUI recordings and finding the failure points in the system
Knowledge of auto generation of the embedded code for the embedded platforms and debugging the failures during the testing of the software
Familiarity with sensor technologies such as radar, lidar, and cameras etc. which will be used for bug detection and resolution
Help translate business and operational functional requirements into detailed functional & technical specifications
Support defect resolution and investigative analysis during development and release cycles
Contribute to reusable solution templates, processes and internal tools that improve implementation efficiency
Migration and re-engineering of applications
Build customer relationship through good interactions and responsiveness
Qualification
Required
Proficient in the use of MATLAB/Simulink, State Estimation algorithms, Controls algorithms, Path Planning algorithms, Embedded platforms, CAN tools, Wireshark and JIRA
Minimum 2 years of experience of rapid prototyping systems (Specifically dSPACE products)
Minimum 2 years of experience of working on Embedded Platforms (Specifically NVIDIA platforms) in development and integration
Experience in MATLAB or Python scripting and plotting for data analysis and debugging
Proficient with communication protocols especially (CAN, UDP, MQTT)
Knowledge about the controls algorithms such as NMPC, PID, LQR and Path planning algorithms such as A*, Hybrid A*, Dijkstra etc
Knowledge about Matlab tools such as Simulink Check, Polyspace etc
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience in interacting with customers to present technical solutions and clarify technical aspects of project
Development, testing, debugging, documentation activities for projects
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices
