Responsibilities
Lead the design and integration of mechanical or structural hardware across key vehicle systems
Own flight-critical components through full lifecycle: requirements, design, analysis, build, test, and integration
Contribute to load paths, material selection, structural interfaces, and design-for-manufacture decisions
Work closely with test and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and validate performance
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-standards, delivery-focused culture
Qualification
Required
6+ years in aerospace, mechanical, or structural engineering roles
Strong CAD proficiency
Familiarity with FEA or structural analysis tools
Experience with design of composite and/or metallic flight hardware
Hands-on involvement in taking hardware through manufacturing and test
Systems mindset and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving team
Enthusiasm for early-stage programs and building things that fly
Preferred
spaceflight experience strongly preferred
NX preferred
