Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (Siemens platform) in a GMP environment
Support equipment qualification and validation activities (URS, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Troubleshoot automation issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure audit readiness
Maintain automation documentation, SOPs, change controls, and system lifecycle records
Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity compliance
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer in a GMP pharma/biotech facility
3+ years of hands-on Siemens PLC/HMI/SCADA experience
Experience supporting regulated manufacturing systems and validation activities
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
