Principal Associate, Process Manager - Multilingual Vendor Management
Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate for their Multilingual Vendor Management team, who will act as a liaison between external vendors and internal partners. The role involves leading process improvements, managing vendor interactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Lead targeted process improvement work and collaborate with teammates on larger initiatives
Collect and analyze operational data to generate insights and provide reporting and transparency for leadership
Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities
Develop and maintain formal process documentation including procedures and process flows
Serve as a subject matter expert partnering with stakeholders to clarify needs and deliver effective solutions
Manage day-to-day interactions with translation and interpretation suppliers, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, overseeing quality evaluations and corrective action plans
Support onboarding of new services, maintenance of vendor process documentation, and monitoring capacity and resource planning
Identify opportunities for quality improvements and optimization
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience managing translation, localization, and interpretation vendors in a regulated industry
At least 2 years of experience with TMS/CAT tools and translation and interpretation technologies
At least 2 years of process or project management experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
2+ years of relationship management or supplier management experience
3+ years of experience managing translation and interpretation vendors in a regulated industry
1+ year of experience in compliance or risk management
Strong negotiation and communication skills
