Strong background in modernizing applications to Azure PaaS and migration projects
Expertise in application hosting, configuration, and optimization using Azure PaaS services:
Azure App Service
Azure Functions
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Azure Container Instances
Ability to understand application architecture, dependencies, and integrations
Leadership experience managing teams of 5+ members
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explore alternate solutions
Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways
Primary Skills
Hands-on web application development experience
Experience developing and hosting applications on Azure PaaS
Basic database skills (connectivity, configuration, etc.)
Ability to analyze application dependencies
Collaboration with Enterprise Architects, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration teams to ensure cloud adoption best practices
Experience in containerizing web applications (frontend + services)
Strong understanding of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes
Application performance assessment (pre- and post-migration)
Ability to ensure solutions align with Azure strategy, stakeholder needs, and business/application/infrastructure requirements
Designing Azure Landing Zones and target-state solution architecture
