Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites tailored to client needs
Ensure websites are fully responsive, fast, and optimized for SEO
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement creative digital strategies
Continuously improve website functionality and user experience
Build custom WordPress themes and plugins according to project specifications
Manage website updates, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
Integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance website capabilities
Optimize website performance, security, and accessibility standards
Work closely with marketing and design teams to translate concepts into functional websites
Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure flawless user experience across devices and browsers
Stay current with WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role in web development
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
Experience developing custom themes and plugins from scratch
Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently
Experience working with version control systems such as Git
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Related course work, Web Development, or related field preferred
Portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects and accomplishments
Certifications related to WordPress or web development are a plus
