Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end estimating process for a diverse portfolio of corporate interior renovations and asset modernization projects ranging from $1M to $20M
Act as a key point of contact for Owners, Developers, and Architects, providing the technical precision and cost-certainty necessary to move projects from design to construction
Leverage your knowledge of the NYC subcontractor market to secure reliable trade coverage and provide realistic cost feedback
Work closely with repeat customers and project stakeholders, providing transparent, open-book budgeting and practical value-engineering solutions
Partner with an established estimating team of six to maintain high standards of accuracy and support the firm’s steady project intake
Qualification
Required
7+ years of Estimating experience with a NYC-based General Contractor or Construction Management firm, with a specific focus on Corporate Interiors
Proven ability to communicate effectively with architects, developers, and ownership groups to resolve constructability and budget alignment issues
A deep understanding of both GC (Lump Sum) and CM (Guaranteed Maximum Price) delivery methods
Expert command of BuildingConnected for bid management
Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, and modern estimating software platforms is required to manage high-volume bidding cycles
