Responsibilities
Prepare and process monthly grant revenue contract invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Develop and implement efficient processes within the first two months to optimize workflow
Assist with system integration and ensure seamless transitions to new platforms
Analyze and reconcile grant-related accounts, ensuring compliance with government regulations
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage fund administration and reporting requirements
Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets
Maintain detailed records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews
Work closely with federal and government agencies to ensure proper invoicing and billing procedures
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency in grant accounting operations
Support the team by quickly identifying and addressing invoicing sources and discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in grant accounting or governmental accounting roles
Strong knowledge of government billing processes and federal contract requirements
Ability to quickly learn and navigate invoicing systems and procedures
Familiarity with fund administration and software implementations
Proficiency in managing government grants, including compliance and reporting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
