Responsibilities

Design, create and implement database systems based on end user requirements
Manage database backup processes and recovery activities
Provision database access and security implementation
Perform database and application patching as defined by vendors while adhering to internal change management process requirements
Perform instance cloning for testing and validation purposes
Perform cloud infrastructure and applications provisioning and support
Independently analyze and correct issues in real time to provide end-to-end problem resolutions
Provide on-call 24/7 support for mission critical production systems
Monitor production systems and perform system tuning as needed
Work with IT infrastructure on administration of operation systems
Assist with developing and maintaining data security processes
Contribute to IT Department projects as needed
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or a combination of equivalent education and relevant work experience
Ability and availability to work nonstandard hours and/or holidays as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

4 years of application administration and database administration experience
Proficiency in LINUX and/or Windows Operating Systems
Disaster recovery (HA/DR) methodology experience
