Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position in Charlotte, NC. The role involves managing project-level resource allocations and leveraging financial forecasting tools to ensure accurate financial reporting and mitigate variances.

Responsibilities

Leverage allocation reporting tools to track and manage project-level resource allocations across DMTEA organizations

Manage tech exec base and initiative allocations to ensure tech exec spending & recovery are accurate

Partner with project managers and resource managers within the tech exec's space to capture resource allocations and forecasts; report on outcomes of financial forecasting activity

Partner with program managers within DMT to govern program forecasts; and report on outcomes of financial forecasting activity

Report on and mitigate monthly variance between forecasts and actuals, keeping variances to a minimum

Create allocation reports to track and manage project-level resource allocations to monitor project forecasting

Support the yearly planning process for projects/initiatives

Aggregate and analyze project estimates (and required funding) across the various parts of the organization to derive a comprehensive team view

Research funding or allocation gaps/discrepancies and assist in resolution

Analytical skills

Strong financial experience

Experience with forecasting and financial analysis to ensure proper portfolio financials are maintained to support efforts within funding limits

Advanced Excel skills (to include pivot tables, sumifs & lookups), general financial acumen, analytical skills, and detail-oriented

Ability to manage, structure, and consolidate multiple sources of data into intelligent reports and stories, and take appropriate actions to remedy outlier situations

Can operate assertively and independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, team building, and influencing skills

Highly organized and motivated self-starter and quick learner

Ability to manage multiple financial priorities simultaneously

Analytical experience – the ability to make sense of data from multiple sources and put it into views for Executive consumption

Ability to problem solve and provide creative solutions

College degree

Lack of Excel skills
