Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage individual, corporate, and partnership tax return preparation while adhering to federal and state regulations
Process complex Tax returns
Maintain organized records of financial transactions and tax filings for accuracy and accessibility
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates, and address any inquiries
Collaborate with colleagues to improve accounting workflows and enhance overall client service
Stay informed about updates to tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices
Assist clients with complex tax filings and resolve any issues related to their financial documentation
Provide guidance on the utilization of accounting and tax software to streamline processes
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience in tax preparation and accounting, with expertise across various client types
Proficiency in accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Drake, or UltraTax
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client interactions
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with complex individual and corporate tax filings
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred or willing to get your EA
