Responsibilities

Lead technical design sessions and create comprehensive architecture documentation
Develop phased deployment strategy for 2,000-site rollout
Configure Zscaler policies, URL filtering, DLP, and threat prevention
Design and implement traffic steering policies in Viptela to route traffic through Zscaler
Conduct proof-of-concept testing and validation
Create runbooks and knowledge transfer documentation
Provide guidance to implementation teams during deployment
Troubleshoot complex integration issues
Optimize performance and fine-tune policies post-deployment

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler platform (ZIA, ZPA)
Proven track record deploying Zscaler in large enterprise environments (1,000+ sites preferred)
Deep understanding of Zscaler architecture, policy configuration, and traffic steering
Experience with Zscaler Connector/Service Edge deployment models
Zscaler certification (ZCCA, ZCCE, or ZCCP) strongly preferred
3+ years of experience with Cisco Viptela/SD-WAN solutions
Strong knowledge of Viptela policy framework, service chaining, and traffic engineering
Experience integrating third-party security solutions with Viptela
Understanding of Viptela vManage, vSmart, vBond, and vEdge architectures
Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and tunneling technologies
Deep understanding of web security, SSL inspection, and cloud security principles
Experience with PAC files, explicit/transparent proxy configurations
Strong grasp of DNS, DHCP, and application identification

Preferred

Experience with large-scale migrations (500+ sites)
Familiarity with SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) architectures
Knowledge of SD-WAN best practices for cloud security integration
Previous consulting experience in similar environments
Strong communication skills for stakeholder management
