Responsibilities

Departmental Leadership: Take the lead of an existing, high-performing estimating division in NYC, mentoring staff and refining internal preconstruction workflows to meet increasing volume
Strategic Market Expansion: Play a primary role in the firm’s growth strategy, overseeing all bidding activities for luxury retail and national account projects across New York and the broader Northeast region
Luxury Portfolio Oversight: Manage the end-to-end estimating process for high-specification retail projects ranging from $1M specialized boutique fit-outs to $10M flagship programs
Subcontractor Ecosystem Management: Leverage and expand upon the firm’s exceptionally strong subcontractor relationships to ensure competitive positioning and "best-in-class" bid coverage in the local market
Preconstruction Excellence: Oversee conceptual budgeting, detailed line-item estimating, and value engineering, ensuring all bids align with the exacting aesthetic and technical standards of luxury clientele

Required

10+ years of progressive estimating experience within the NYC/Northeast market, specifically focused on high-end retail, luxury interiors, or national account roll outs
Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and elevate a team of estimators in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Expert-level understanding of NYC labor costs, high-end material procurement, and the nuances of luxury brand requirements
A leadership style that aligns with values prioritizing transparency, long-term relationships, and a supportive team culture over corporate bureaucracy
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required
