Responsibilities
Accurately complete design requests for marketing materials such as digital ads, emails, social media posts, flyers, etc., for a wide range of industries
Create and design layouts for print materials
Follow creative direction and demonstrate innovation and creativity when developing concepts, design, and illustrations for marketing materials
Resize and adapt current designs or campaigns to alternate layouts
Update creative and text content on the client's WordPress sites
Revise, edit, and proofread text copy at a high level (for creative content) as needed
Prioritize job assignments and projects based on internal and client needs
Keep track of and report the time spent on each assignment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Applicants must provide a portfolio of current work that demonstrates their design skill set and a resume to be considered for this position
Minimum Experience: One (1) internship in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or similar position in-house or at an ad agency
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
File management, naming, and organization skills
Proven understanding of typography usage, layout design, and print production
Experience designing for social media, print, and digital
Basic copy editing and knowledge
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with previous experience working in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Proficient in Canva
Experience working in WordPress: updating text, photos, and links
Preferred
Basic HTML understanding is a plus
Figma experience is a plus
