Responsibilities
Define and execute an enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across data engineering, analytics, reporting, and data science
Oversee the design, development, and optimization of data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-based solutions
Translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights supporting clinical quality, population health, financial performance, and operations
Establish and enforce data governance, quality standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS)
Partner with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, vendors, and analytics partners
Evaluate, select, and implement BI tools and emerging analytics technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or BI roles, including 3–5 years in leadership
Healthcare industry experience (provider, payer, life sciences, or digital health)
Strong experience with EHR, claims, financial, and population health data
Proficiency with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and healthcare regulatory requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Preferred
Value-based care, population health, or risk adjustment initiatives
Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, HCC) and quality reporting
Experience with predictive analytics, AI/ML, and advanced modeling
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
