5+ years expHawkwood is partnering with a high-growth, VC-backed fintech to hire a People Partner for their US business. The role involves coaching managers, supporting organizational design, and managing employee relations in a rapidly evolving environment.

Responsibilities
Coaching and advising managers on performance, development, feedback etc
Supporting org design, workforce planning and succession thinking as teams scale
Owning employee relations cases end to end, from first conversation through resolution
Partnering on change initiatives as the business continues to evolve at pace
Helping embed and improve people processes (for example on-boarding)
Working closely with the wider People team as responsibilities between ops and partnering continue to become more defined as the company grows
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in a People Partner / HRBP role
Strong ER experience and confidence managing complex cases independently
A track record of coaching managers, particularly first-time or developing leaders
Equal confidence in managing senior stakeholders
Experience in high-growth, changing environments where structure is still being built
Comfort operating autonomously and prioritising in ambiguous situations
Solid project and change management skills
Exposure to modern people tools and systems (performance, engagement, HCM), and a mindset around using technology to automate and simplify
Preferred
Fintech, Tech, or a PLG business background would be ideal but the actual industry is less important than how you've worked
