Responsibilities

Underwrites an inforce book of business and new business quotes, focused on attaining profitable growth, persistency, and earnings

Performs case-specific risk assessments

Responsible for account level rate development and conducting sales strategy discussions with internal business partners

Proficient with manual rating pricing methodologies and new business and renewal pricing strategies

Responsible for an assigned book of business consisting of accounts in our SME (Small-to-Medium Employer) segment

Works directly with Sales and Client Management teams on new business quotes and renewals, requires the ability to articulate our pricing strategies, risk concerns, and underwriting analysis

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience

Strong organizational and prioritization skills

1+ years of underwriting, finance or related experience strongly preferred
