Responsibilities
Execute the vision and strategy for data products and data governance within the assigned data domain, co-develop the PT-wide data product roadmap, and guide strategic prioritization of the domain’s data products
Oversee the data lifecycle management (acquisition, storage, transformation, and archiving) by closely liaising with other data roles, such as Data Product Owners (DPO) and Data Stewards
Lead and strategize on the integration of data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy across PT, and drive the development and maintenance of core data assets
Ensure adherence to Digital, IT & QMS frameworks, policies, and standards to maintain data security, quality, and integrity, and work with teams to ensure effective implementation of global standards
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for data-related matters in the PT Development domain, ensuring transparency in data priorities and decision making
Partner with data domain, business, and IT stakeholders—together with the Portfolio Lead—to prioritize data initiatives based on business value and strategic alignment
Lead the strategic design of data products and governance frameworks to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and a culture of innovation, in close collaboration with the One PT Data Office
Qualification
Required
10+ years of industry experience in a data related role, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciences with strong Development expertise, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
Deep subject matter expertise with a track record of setting new industry standards, advancing the field, and influencing executive leaders; previous experience in data management and integration is required
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a global matrix team; strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts to diverse audiences across PT and beyond
Proven project management skills, with the ability to deliver results in complex global networks using agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM); proficiency in data management tools, including SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing
Strong strategic and critical thinking, skilled at identifying new opportunities and translating business objectives into high-level data design features and actionable roadmaps
