Responsibilities

Manage and oversee full-cycle payroll processes for a large-scale workforce, including multi-state and international payroll operations
Ensure timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and other payroll schedules
Utilize systems such as Deel and Workday Payroll to streamline payroll workflows and reporting
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations, including Canadian payroll standards
Lead and manage payroll operations for a workforce exceeding 500 employees
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment in global compensation strategies
Handle payroll system updates and integrations to optimize efficiency and accuracy
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring employee satisfaction and operational consistency
Develop and implement best practices for payroll management across multiple regions
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the payroll team, fostering growth and development

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in global payroll management, with a focus on global and multi-state operations

Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for organizations with 500+ employees
Expertise in processing various payroll schedules, including bi-weekly and semi-monthly
Strong understanding of global compensation strategies and SaaS platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address payroll discrepancies effectively
Proven leadership experience in guiding and developing payroll teams
