Responsibilities
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives
Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization
Recommend improvements for utilization of personnel, material, and utilities
Plan and establish sequence of operations for fabrication and assembly to promote efficiency
Apply statistical methods and perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize reliability, and minimize cost
Estimate production costs and assess the impact of product design changes
Draft and design layouts of equipment, materials, and workspace for maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer software
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
2-4 years of relevant experience
Proficient in AutoCAD (non-negotiable)
Experience in Standard Time Data analysis (training provided for methodologies/software)
Strong creativity, communication (verbal and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Team player, detail-oriented, and energetic
Basic ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and computations
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for technical plans, blueprints, and models
Familiarity with business and management principles (strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods)
Previous experience with engineering software (MS Visual Basic, MS Project, ABAQUS)
Preferred
Industrial Engineering preferred
Practical project management experience preferred; formal certification not required
Energetic, process-driven candidates preferred
Candidates with strong behaviors, willingness to learn, and great communication skills may be considered even with less experience
