The candidate may not have direct access to live network devices
Access will be provided to a variety of lab equipment to design, test, and develop solutions
The team operates within Innovation / NextGen development, where processes do not yet exist and must be created
Qualification
Required
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite Ellenwood, GA, 2 days remote
Travel may be required – Up to 1x per quarter to Tysons, VA
Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support for critical testing or upgrades

Juniper networking equipment is used
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routers and switches
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP subnetting
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing protocols (ability to explain concepts clearly)
Linux is essential — candidate must be comfortable 'living in Linux'
Strong foundational skills in Linux administration
Basic virtualization concepts and lab-based Kubernetes experience is needed, but deep Kubernetes expertise is not required
Preferred
Exposure to 4G / 5G networking
Strong network engineer with solid Linux skills
