Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects
Analyzing project data
Reviewing blueprints and documentation
Conducting material take-offs
Managing bid processes
Collaborating with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Preparing proposals
Lead and mentor a team of estimators to ensure the highest standard of accuracy and efficiency in the estimating process
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in preparing cost estimates, material take-offs, and bid proposals specific to construction projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
Experience in collaborating with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Leadership skills to mentor and manage a team of estimators effectively
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools
Relevant experience in construction cost estimation; prior experience in commercial or residential projects is a plus
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
