Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements
Deliver hands-on training sessions and instill safety accountability at all levels
Conduct audits and risk assessments; implement corrective actions and track follow-ups
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and lead improvement efforts
Manage environmental reporting (emissions, waste, water)
Keep HSE records and systems accurate and up to date
Work with department leads to build safety into projects, workflows, and priorities
Define and track performance metrics related to HSE
Qualification
Required
5+ years in HSE roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Health, or similar
Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and state-level HSE regulations
Experience leading investigations, safety audits, and compliance corrections
Familiarity with managing environmental impact programs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
Communication skills strong enough to influence on the shop floor and in leadership meetings
Preferred
Certifications (CSP, CIH, etc.) are welcome but not required
