Responsibilities

Performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope

Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line

It operates standard shop equipment including soldering iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces

Reworks malfunctioning units

Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units

Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge

Weld miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift

Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal oversight

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope

Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings

Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies

Good mechanical aptitude

Good dexterity of hands and eyes

Good communication skills

Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610

Must be a local candidate

Excellent communication skills

Good planning skills and ability to multitask effectively

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time and will not require sponsorship either now or in the future to obtain an employment visa
