Responsibilities
Lead editorial coverage of F1 broadcasts, including live clipping (studio shows/track events)
Strategize, plan, and produce F1 content curated for our US audience across our app and ecosystem
Performs the role with an 'always on' approach, constantly monitoring sports featuring
Project plan and adhere to live sports deadlines across the TV app and sports ecosystem
Daily collaboration with partner leagues and internal live sports engineering, product, design, localization, and operations teams
Work with a sense of urgency to clear out inboxes and keep teams unblocked with kindness and clear communication
Qualification
Required
At least 6-8 years of professional work experience, with at least two years in a role that included planning and programming F1 editorial/digital/social content
Deep understanding of sports with an emphasis on F1, MLS, and MLB
Fan-focused with elite editorial instincts and reflexes across dayside and live coverage
BA or BS degree in journalism, marketing, or another related field
Willingness to work hours as dictated by the F1 calendar. This is not a 9-5 p.m. M-F role
Preferred
A self-starter who can work with little oversight while maintaining excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate grit, passion, and equity across sports programming tasks. The right candidate should be both a fan and someone who wants to advance the sport
Final Cut/Premiere fundamentals are a plus
Bilingual candidates preferred (English & Spanish)
