Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments with accuracy
Checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards
Process manual checks and off cycle payrolls
Audit payrolls for accuracy
Works with a sense of urgency
Effectively communicates with associates, managers, and stakeholders
Prepare and distribute ad-hoc reports
Support the compensation & commissions teams
Research, resolve and respond to employee inquiries
Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Willingness to learn additional duties as part of payroll team
Qualification
Required
3+ years of multi-state payroll processing
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service skills
Experience using payroll software
Familiar with Fair Labor Standards Act
Strong computer skills; proficient in data entry and time management
Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Accuracy and attention to detail required
