Account Manager

SCC Soft Computer is seeking an Account Manager to develop and maintain strong client relationships and engage with key business executives. The primary responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, understanding client needs, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, proactively addressing concerns, and providing excellent customer service
Serve as the main point of contact for their assigned account management matters
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to our contractual obligation
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed directions and timelines
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Cross-sell and upsell additional products and services to existing clients
In collaboration with your sales manager, you will develop a strategy to introduce your clients to new products
Assist in contract negotiation to close agreements and maximize profits
Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide insightful reports to management
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Ensure accurate and timely forecasting and reporting for management visibility
Work closely with marketing, product development, customer support, and other internal teams to ensure smooth client experience
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute the lead generation program
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

AS/BA degree or equivalent in business, healthcare, IT, or related area
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Proven work experience as an Account Executive/Account Manager or relevant role
Effectively present complex information in an organized manner both verbally and in writing to decision-makers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sales acumen and negotiation abilities
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
In-depth knowledge of the product/service and industry landscape
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools

Preferred

Two to four years of sales management is preferred
