Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support enterprise objectives and operational efficiency
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align sourcing priorities and vendor selection approaches
Lead the preparation, issuance, and management of RFPs, RFIs, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify qualified suppliers and sourcing opportunities
Manage standardized, competitive RFP processes with consistent language, evaluation criteria, and scoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Vendor Management, Legal, Information Security, Risk, PMO) to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and compliance requirements
Support contract negotiations, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), SOWs, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in partnership with contracts and legal teams
Administer non-disclosure agreements, supplier risk assessments, and due diligence processes
Participate in collaborative handoffs to vendor management teams to ensure effective contract execution and ongoing supplier oversight
Support vendor performance review meetings and provide regular feedback on supplier performance
Analyze business requirements to identify leveraging opportunities, supplier recommendations, and acquisition strategies
Obtain and analyze vendor performance, delivery, and spend data to inform sourcing decisions
Maintain comprehensive sourcing and vendor documentation, including source selection records, compliance metrics, and value realization results
Develop and manage category strategies, researching new product and service options to drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings
Monitor market conditions and provide category and industry insights to stakeholders
Support change management initiatives related to sourcing methodologies, tools, and processes
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with a strong focus on IT sourcing
Significant experience preparing and managing RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs
Proven experience managing formal vendor selection, evaluation, and performance management processes
Strong experience developing, negotiating, and supporting service level agreements
Advanced ability to translate business objectives into technology sourcing and vendor solutions
Strong data analysis and data manipulation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve competing stakeholder requests
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort presenting to senior leadership
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and facilitation skills
Experience with change management and organizational transformation initiatives
Preferred
Working knowledge of strategic sourcing practices within financial services or similarly regulated industries
