Manager, Corporate Communications – Public Affairs, Thought Leadership & Global Impact

Responsibilities
Support the company’s communications strategy with messaging that amplifies brand reputation and global impact
Draft, edit, and distribute executive communications, media materials, reports, and digital content with a specific focus on policy, sustainability and impact
Partner with internal teams to align messaging across stakeholders including employees, customers, policymakers, investors, and NGOs
Manages the development, implementation, and coordination of internal and external public relations strategies, with the goal of establishing and maintaining a favorable image of the company with investors, potential customers, employees and the public
Lead the preparation of annual sustainability/ESG reports, ensuring alignment with leading frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD). This includes investor relations on sustainability reporting requirements
Track and communicate progress against corporate sustainability and impact goals
Develop content and materials that demonstrate transparency and credibility in reporting
Maintain a strong understanding of climate solutions relevant to agriculture and corporate sustainability
Partner with operations, manufacturing and science teams to translate complex market and technical concepts into clear, compelling communications for internal and external audiences
Provide guidance on market trends and integration into communications, grants, and partnerships
Collaborate with the Government Affairs team on strategic communications that support public policy priorities and advocacy efforts
Research, draft, and support proposals for grants and funding opportunities that align with company objectives
Build relationships with key policy, NGO, and industry stakeholders to advance thought leadership and influence
Assist in outreach and communications that strengthen community partnerships
Support local initiatives and activities that highlight the company’s brand and values
Serve as a bridge between communications, sustainability, science, and government affairs teams
Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across corporate reputation, impact, policy, and partnership initiatives
Consults with marketing, sales, advertising, and HR in order to project the corporate message to both external and internal mediums
Interfaces with public relations agency and acts as the corporate spokesperson to the media, analysts and the general public at large
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related field
8+ years of experience in corporate communications, ESG/sustainability, public affairs, or related roles
Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and climate/inset markets
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience tailoring messages for diverse audiences
Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality outputs on tight timelines
Comfort navigating public policy issues, grant applications, and stakeholder engagement
Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver
Preferred
Expertise in agriculture is a plus!
