Ascendo Resources is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Associate to support the acquisitions, asset management, and fund administration functions. The role involves underwriting, evaluating, and conducting due diligence on potential investments while also managing existing assets to enhance financial performance.

Responsibilities

Assist in underwriting new investment opportunities, including financial modeling, investment analysis, and preparing investment memorandums

Conduct market research, risk/strength assessment, and property valuation analysis for potential deals

Support all aspects of the due diligence, closing, and asset takeover process

Aid in the asset management of the company’s properties, including performance monitoring, cash management, and reporting

Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for loan reporting and investor updates

Incorporate AI tools and methodologies to enhance underwriting and asset management processes

Assist with fund administration tasks, including performance tracking, modeling, reporting, and marketing

Required

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an analyst or associate in acquisitions and/or asset management within the commercial real estate sector is required

Proficiency in Excel, ARGUS, PowerPoint, and Word is necessary

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior management

High level of self-motivation and strong work ethic

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
