Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of color matching process with vendors

Responsible for accurate completion of defective material reports (DMR) and contacting vendor and forwarding samples and photos. Ensures DMR status is maintained and updated in the database

Log all material hold tickets into database and file appropriately

Assist with internal document control to include sorting, numbering, filing, scanning, printing, distributing, storing, and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents for all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Serve as ISO Internal Auditor and conduct assessments to verify company’s documentation meets ISO 9001 requirements

Understand New Paint Code process and Release New Codes as needed

Report Color Match, DMR’s and Hold Metrics on a monthly basis

Review, modify, and implement quality standards and test methods using ISO guidelines

Update, file, and report data regularly via email or company databases and forms

Work closely with multiple departments, suppliers, and customers

Effectively communicate procedures, activities, and data in a professional manner

Other duties as assigned by department manager

Required

Bachelor's degree in quality management or related technical field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment required

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and basic Windows applications

Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills required
