Responsibilities

Lead SAP FI (Financial Accounting) implementations, rollouts, and support projects in Professional Services environments
Act as the primary FI functional lead for client engagements
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI solutions
Design and configure SAP FI modules including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting
Financial Closing & Reporting
Integrate SAP FI with CO, MM, SD, PS, and third-party systems
Provide solution design documents, functional specifications, and configuration documentation
Lead workshops, user training sessions, and UAT activities
Manage and mentor junior consultants
Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization
Ensure delivery meets scope, timeline, and quality expectations
Collaborate closely with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders

Required

8+ years of SAP FI experience, including leadership roles
Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC FI
Experience working in Professional Services or client-facing consulting roles
Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
Experience with multi-company, multi-currency environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead workshops and interact with senior client stakeholders

Preferred

SAP FI certification (ECC or S/4HANA)
Experience with SAP Professional Services (PS) module integration
Exposure to SAP Central Finance or New GL
Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects
Knowledge of US localization and tax structures
