Responsibilities
Review list of completed services/cycles to ensure completion
Maintain financial records for proper billing
Reconcile all commercial insurance claims for cycles and single services
Work directly with commercial payers to resolve any denied claims
Issuing final reconciliation letters to patients
Review reconciliation letters with patients and collect/refund any outstanding balances
Applying payments and adjustments to patient’s accounts
Maintain and work through AR reports for commercial insurance accounts
Qualification
Required
Experience in billing and reconciliation of insurance claims
Ability to work independently while maintaining strict patient confidentiality
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record maintenance
Experience working with commercial payers to resolve denied claims
Ability to issue final reconciliation letters and review them with patients
Experience in applying payments and adjustments to patient accounts
Ability to maintain and work through accounts receivable reports for commercial insurance accounts
