Responsibilities

Own, manage, and analyze Google's energy and renewable energy data portfolio, tracking project costs, generation, availability, and profitability
Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and month-end close for energy costs/generation, and collaborate with Finance/Accounting to provide essential financial information for exceptional reporting
Build scalable tools and processes (including those for contract performance) to enhance analytical efficiency and support data initiatives for portfolio performance scaling
Work closely with third-party vendors, utilities, and suppliers to validate monthly settlements, analyze energy invoices, and ensure timely and accurate payment
Collaborate internally to support reporting on renewable energy purchases, consumption, and progress toward goals, and assist the team in managing renewable energy contracts and utility agreements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree

Preferred

Experience working with large datasets and coding languages, database, automation or business intelligence skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, Python, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Ability to be organised, detail oriented, strategically focused and effortlessly multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and manage ambiguity
Excellent people management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft and deliver a message with credibility to influence executive leadership
