Sales Operations Associate
Euro-American Brands is a leading importer and nationwide distributor of gourmet confections and specialty foods. The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for processing sales orders, coordinating shipments, invoicing, and assisting with various accounting and logistics tasks, while also having opportunities for professional growth within the accounting department.

Responsibilities
Accurately process customer sales orders by verifying order details, pricing, updating customer records, and ensuring timely submission for fulfillment
Collaborate with third-party warehouse provider to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Track shipment statuses and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies
Generate and issue accurate invoices based on processed sales orders and shipped items, ensuring compliance with customer agreements, company policies, and pricing
Post incoming cash payments, allocate them to the correct accounts, and ensure proper reconciliation with customer records
Work with our sales team to solve problems, verify information, and assist customers
Input financial data into accounting systems, ensuring precision and consistency
Assist in reconciling accounts, including sales, and accounts receivable ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
Work with customers, third-party warehouse teams and shipping partners to resolve issues regarding order fulfillment, inventory discrepancies, or returns
Work with the company’s newly implemented mid-sized ERP system (Acumatica) to manage data, generate reports and streamline processes. Familiarity with the system will be important as you adapt and help enhance its use
Use Microsoft Excel skills to manage data and create financial reports. You will also interact with the ERP system for data entry, reporting, and analysis
Assist the accounting team with other tasks, such as reporting, process improvements, and data analysis
Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills, with the potential to take on more complex accounting responsibilities over time
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Excellent attitude required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Preferred
Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred but not required
Proficiency in accounting software is a plus
Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable (experience with the company's specific ERP system will be provided)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis)
