Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated ELT/data pipelines for new and existing data sources
Build tools and frameworks to ingest, transform, and deliver data efficiently to internal users and customer-facing systems
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to improve existing pipelines and onboard new customers
Monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and security , and document data resources
Provide recommendations for process and technology improvements
Work with very large datasets (millions to hundreds of millions of records, backups ~40 TB) and batch processing pipelines
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Qualification
Required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
SQL Expert: Can write complex queries, transformations, and optimizations for ELT pipelines
Python Experience: Comfortable developing data pipelines and automation (not backend services)
Skilled in designing, building, and maintaining pipelines in modern orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, DBT, or similar
Comfortable scripting and running pipelines in Linux-based systems; cloud-managed environments a plus
Able to design scalable pipelines and data models to support business and customer needs
Knowledge of batch and real-time processing pipelines
Experience in testing frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
6–8 years of related experience, with minimum 4 years in data engineering
Preferred
Familiarity with Vertica
Experience with Redshift
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with BigQuery
Experience with SQL Server
Experience with healthcare or high-volume transaction data
