Responsibilities
Serve as the Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Lead , owning end-to-end solution design and delivery
Lead functional requirements gathering and solution workshops with finance, contracts, and compliance teams
Configure and support Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management (CM)
Intercompany Accounting
Revenue Management (RMCS)
Apply Aerospace & Defense–specific financial expertise, including:
Government contracting and cost-plus accounting
FAR, DFARS, and CAS compliance
Program- and project-based financial structures
Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Projects, SCM, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate financial integration
Support data conversion, reconciliation, and testing cycles (SIT, UAT)
Partner with technical teams on reports, integrations, and extensions
Lead or support end-user training, documentation, and go-live activities
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency Required
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN US DEFENSE SUBCONTRACTING INDUSTRY REQUIRED!
8+ years of Oracle ERP Financials experience, with substantial hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials implementation work
Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Solution Architect on multiple Oracle Cloud ERP projects
Direct experience supporting Aerospace & Defense or government contracting organizations
Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and related compliance frameworks
Deep understanding of financial controls, cost accounting, audit readiness, and revenue recognition
Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing consulting skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Cloud Projects Financial Management
Prior large-scale ERP transformation or multi-entity implementation experience
Oracle Cloud Financials certifications
Experience working in regulated or secure environments
