Internal IT Technician
Premier Networx is a fast-growing managed service provider serving SMB clients in the greater Augusta area. The Internal IT Technician is responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of all internal IT systems and tools, ensuring stability, security, and scalability of the technology stack.

Responsibilities
Administer and maintain internal systems including RMM, EDR, PSA, M365, email, identity, and security platforms
Lead internal tool rollouts, upgrades, and migrations (planning, execution, testing, documentation, and training)
Manage internal user lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, permissions, licensing, and access control
Own internal patching, update policies, and compliance across all systems
Monitor and remediate internal system health, performance, and security alerts
Manage internal endpoint standards, configuration baselines, and automation policies
Oversee internal SaaS licensing, cost management, and compliance audits
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams in ITGlue or related systems
Support and maintain internal network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, printers, and conference room systems
Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Ensure security best practices are followed (MFA, conditional access, EDR policies, encryption, least privilege, etc.)
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on internal IT or systems administration experience required
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, M365 administration, and identity management
Hands-on experience with RMM, EDR, PSA, and email systems
Experience leading tool deployments and internal IT projects
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and internal controls
Strong documentation and process design skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

Preferred
CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or similar certifications preferred
Experience with ConnectWise, ITGlue, or similar platforms strongly preferred
